Dr. Pochi Huang OD

Dr. Pochi Huang is a local product of Fullerton, California. He received his B.S. in Biology at the University of California, Los Angeles followed by his Doctor of Optometry degree with Honors from the Southern California College of Optometry. As part of his optometric training, Dr. Huang completed his externships at the Naval Medical Center in San Diego, CA, the Southern Arizona VA Healthcare System in Tucson, AZ, and the Veterans Affair Hospital West L.A. Medical Center, Los Angeles, CA.

Dr. Huang has practiced in a variety of clinical settings ranging from working with the visually impaired at the Southwestern Blind Rehabilitation Center, SAVAHCS, AZ, to working with the children of the Boys & Girls Club of Garden Grove, CA, where he discovered his talent for working with children.

When he’s not in the office, Dr. Huang enjoys the gustatory arts, the great outdoors, amateur photography, and reading. And yes, Dr. Huang always reads with good lighting, good visual posture, and never ever forgets to take short breaks every 20 minutes. When he’s not being the model of good visual hygiene, Dr. Huang is a die hard Lakers fan, and all things UCLA sports.
